Plan Your Next Wild Night Out

Code Red

Pre-Planning Tantastic. Every gal knows that the evening before a night out needs as much grooming attention as the night itself, most significantly the tanning. Nobody wants to go out smelling like tanning lotion, so make sure you build up your tan in the days before. It is also recommended that you shave your legs before applying the tanning lotion to avoid taking any of the tan off later.

Code Red. Make sure that you have your eyebrows and top lip waxed, plucked or threaded the night before your girls night out too – nobody wants a red mark on their face while partying on the town.

Twinkle Toes. No one ever has time for a mani/pedi the night-of so drop into your nail shop the night before and enjoy some girl time.

The Night-Of 5.30 p.m. Get showered, apply all moisturizer and dry your hair first. You want to make sure you have time to cool off before you try applying makeup and clothes.

6 p.m. Sit down, relax and enjoy a nice glass of white wine while jamming to some tunes. This is a great way to get yourself in the party mood and cool down after your shower.

6.30 p.m. Apply your makeup and complete any last-minute hair adjustments with your curler or straightener. Remember curly hair goes much better with dancing in a hot club!

7 p.m. Get dressed, being sure to be careful with white clothing and your makeup. Dab a small amount of perfume on your neck but not too much – you don’t want to be smelled from too far away – subtle is best.

7.20 p.m. Get caffeine in your system. Drink a cup of coffee or sip on an energy drink. Make sure you clean your teeth after, especially if you are single and plan on chatting to guys – no one appreciates coffee breath. Yuck.

7.30 p.m. Leave for your pre-game or arrange for your friends to arrive at this time. Spend some time chatting and gossiping before your dinner reservation. Be sure to book taxis in advance so you don’t have to worry about ordering them while you have company.

8.15 p.m. Leave for dinner reservations.

8.30 p.m. Arrive for dinner – Eat a chicken or salmon salad with a little potato salad. If you plan on drinking it is a good idea to get some carbs as well as protein in your stomach but not too much! You do not want to bloat.

9.30 p.m. Start off your night in a bar. We recommend a place with upbeat music and cocktails – it is a girls night after all!

10.30 p.m. Head to your favorite club. Try to get on a guest list of some description so you don’t have to waste time in a line. Even better, try to find a deal on a bottle service so you get a VIP table for the night – a great spot to keep the group together even if some people want to go dance.

From tanning to dancing the night away at your favorite club, Aphrodite’s guide is guaranteed to help you have a great night out. Tell us what you think!
