Carrot Ginger Smoothie

1 scoop vanilla protein powder of your choice or unflavored 1/2 an apple (tart & sweet green variety), chopped with skin is desired 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled & diced 1 cup 100% carrot juice (such as "Naked Juice") 3-5 ice cubes

Add all ingredients to blender.  Add enough carrot juice to make blending easy.  Blend thoroughly for a smooth consistency. * Prepare multiple combinations ahead to save time later on busy days;  cut apples and ginger and place in several ziploc bags in your freezer.  Then just add juice, protein, & ice.  This works great with any of your favorite smoothie combinations.  Frozen fruit is also good if you're not a big fan of ice.
