Have you seen those women at the beach with a face full of makeup and then heard them complain about getting their face wet? Are you one of those women? It’s difficult to decide whether or not to wear makeup to the beach. You want to look gorgeous, but you also want to be able to get down and dirty at beach volleyball.

There is a simple makeup routine that will make you look gorgeous whether you’re tanning on the beach or getting sandy playing beach sports with the guys.

 

FACE

The first thing you should apply is oil-free waterproof moisturizer with SPF if you have naturally dry skin. If not, just directly apply primer. There is a certain primer for everyone, depending on your skin.

• BLUE- Evens out skin tone, lightweight, fast-absorbing and an oil defender
• WHITE- Lightweight, fast-absorbing and evens out skin tone

Next, you apply an Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer with SPF. PHILOSOPHY- Supernatural Poreless, Flawless Tinted SPF 15 $30.00 works well to making your skin seemingly flawless like foundation would but in a more natural way.

The next thing to apply is an oil-free Matte Press Powder. CLINIQUE- Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder $21.00 works well for a full coverage feeling, yet natural.

Next, apply blush. Tarte-Cheek Stain $30.00 works well because it is gel based for longer lasting results. It is also water-based and oil free. This blush gives you the natural finishing touch.

Lastly, apply oil-free bronzer on your cheekbones to highlight your face and eyelids. Shiseido Bronzer stays on without the heaviness of other bronzers.

 

EYES

For your eyes, always use waterproof products. Curl your eyelashes then use L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Waterproof Mascara- $10.99. This mascara gives you a length and volume and because it is waterproof, you won’t have to worry about your eye makeup running while you’re in the ocean.

Apply eyeliner in the rim of your eyelids to make your eyes look more open.

Apply waterproof liquid eyeliner on your lash line.

 

LIPS

For your lips, use ChapStick. Then, for some color, use lip stain for long lasting color.

 

HAIR

• Loosely pull hair back with a headband.
