This shoot was inspired by gifts that were given to me from a few very special friends... it started with the audio version of the Emerald Tablets of Thoth... and then the Emerald Tablets bracelet .... I fell in love with the bracelet and reached out to the jewelry designer in Israel ... I ordered the Eye of Horus Silver pendant to match.
It’s been a while since I had done a photo shoot and was referred to Sean Nelson out of Las Vegas. Sean is a highly sought after fitness photographer worldwide and is known for shooting many of the top fitness competitors and influencers.... he is booked months out and has an insane travel schedule...catch him while you still can!
I'm grateful I had the pleasure to shoot with him.....
I have to be honest I was a little intimidated at first because at this present moment I am nowhere near lean like the fitness models that he typically works with... learn more about Sean here in my interview with him....
The silver Eye of Horus pendant and the Silver Emerald Tablets of Thoth were custom made by Ka Gold - Jewelry designer David Weitzman in Israel… https://www.ka-gold-jewelry.com/the-designer.php

The Emerald tablet bracelet contains the symbols of the ibis bird and the feather of Ma'at. The Ibis bird symbolizes Thoth, known as the ancient Egyptian god of wisdom and the scriber of the words of the gods. The feather of Ma'at is the symbol of the goddess of justice, truth, and harmony.
The translation of the hieroglyph engraved on the bracelet is "Oh my heart that I had in my days upon this earth, pray do not rise up to bear witness against me; pray do not accuse me before the great god".
The Emerald tablet jewel was inspired by "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean" that were written by Thoth. The seed of life that appears on the bracelet symbolizes the seven lords that dwell in the Halls of Amenti that Thoth refers to in the "Emerald Tablets".
The feather of Ma'at was a motif used in the legends of the Halls of Amenti, where the souls of the dead were brought to stand trial for their actions during their lifetime. In this trial, the heart of the deceased was weighed against the feather of Ma'at. If his heart was pure the scales were balanced.
Proof of Thoth's existence can be found in the Berlin museum, where there is an ancient papyrus describing how Pharaoh Hofu searched for "The ark of wisdom of Thoth". This is also a proof that Hofu was not as great a pyramid builder as most Egyptologists claim.
The emerald tablets were translated by Dr. M. Doreal and were published in the 1930's.

The Eye of Ancient Egypt
In ancient Egypt, the Eye was a predominant magical symbol and a religious image seen in temples and tombs. It was also worn by many as lucky charm or amulet.
The most common image of the Egyptian Eye is that of a human eye shaped like a falcon, after a mythical falcon-headed Egyptian god of the ancient times. The image of the eye has markings around it that resemble a falcon. This eye image was so popularly used that it became symbolic of ancient Egypt. It was particularly associated with religion and belief in symbolic amulet or talisman.
